BlueFit is fully committed to getting the Fleurieu Aquatic Centre back to its best.</p></div> <div class="block-wrapper" data-block-id="6afd8fa7-2f6f-4409-b94f-ddd1e44e8735"><p><br />Here is a breakdown of the major improvements currently underway:</p></div> <div class="block-wrapper" data-block-id="24e9af3b-8e89-4a6d-81dc-70166970f392"><h4> 1. Fixing the 25m Pool Temperature</h4></div> <div class="block-wrapper" data-block-id="4420e79e-3599-4372-83fc-2fc7bf398939"><p>Swimmers will soon enjoy a much more consistent and comfortable experience in the water. We have had a pool tech on site this week to resolve the issues with the 25m Pool and hope to have this back to a comfortable temperature in the coming week. We understand the 25m Pool has had no heating for a number of weeks so it’s a priority for us to fix this for our members and patrons. In the meantime, we will continue to experience inconsistency with the pool but rest assured we are working on a permanent fix. </p></div> <div class="block-wrapper" data-block-id="878dd876-f8c1-4417-98ec-ab4a481fa740"><h4>2. Improving the Shower Pressure and Heat</h4></div> <div class="block-wrapper" data-block-id="9abe3ea5-192c-43d7-a2b8-cca6f588d137"><p>We’ve heard your feedback around issues with the showers around the facility. The operations team are working with local plumbers to improve the hot water plumbing and pressure valves. We hope this will make post swim transition more comfortable.</p></div> <div class="block-wrapper" data-block-id="61a6881a-02fa-478f-aab7-6a6677c6993a"><h4>3. Quieting the Spa Pump</h4></div> <div class="block-wrapper" data-block-id="5733ad63-8f02-4131-8277-3b06e7c4418d"><p>We hear what you hear! The spa pump is very loud and we are working with our technicians to fix this. We hope the end result will provide you with a more relaxing space. </p></div> <div class="block-wrapper" data-block-id="6da58c0e-84f1-4178-8ece-a6927412f50c"><h4>4. Extended Hydrotherapy Hours</h4></div> <div class="block-wrapper" data-block-id="510ffbc5-d071-4657-9dc2-50929747248b"><p>We have extended the hours of the Hydrotherapy pool to match the opening hours of the facility. This means you can use the space first thing in the morning and during the day pending any bookings or programs in that space. Please refer to our <a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer" href="https://www.fleurieuaquatic.com.au/lane-availability">lane availability online</a> to ensure the space is available when you attend.</p></div> <div class="block-wrapper" data-block-id="d8e57cd5-9c14-4a3d-a9ca-f8d581414e44"><h4>4. Deep Cleaning and General Maintenance Blitz</h4></div> <div class="block-wrapper" data-block-id="4ea7c907-d6df-402c-8b36-141a77250861"><p>In addition to the major mechanical fixes, the facility is undergoing a rigorous top-to-bottom deep clean. The maintenance blitz includes:</p><ul><li><p>Deep scrubbing of wet area to remove calcium deposits. </p></li><li><p>Cleaning of high traffic areas</p></li><li><p>Decluttering of all spaces</p></li><li><p>General cosmetic touch ups and safety inspections of all equipment.<br /></p></li></ul><p>We will aim to keep the facility operational for these improvements, with minimal disruption.
